Our Mission
The Study Center's mission is to be a hub of Christian life and spiritual formation for Wake Forest University students, faculty, staff, and its broader community.

The Study Center plans to be a durable institution that comes alongside Wake Forest University as a separate entity in deep partnership for the good of the Wake Forest community.
Our Vision
The Study Center will be a home where the Wake Forest University community can be immersed in the culture of Jesus Christ. This house will be designed to nourish students spiritually, academically, socially, and artistically. It will be a house with quiet places made for conversations - to listen to a friend or to the God who speaks. The house will welcome Christian students who want to ask questions, and non-Christian students who want to explore the world from a Christian perspective. Students will be invited to read great books and The Great Book, the Bible.
This will be a house that Wake students can call home as they mature from having an adolescent faith to being an adult disciple during their years at WFU. And this house will intentionally welcome and serve the wider Wake community. It will be a house where college pastors from campus ministries meet a student or host an event. It will be a house that cultivates conversation by hosting guest academics or professionals to speak about the integration of faith and academic life or faith and work in the marketplace or the medical field. A house where faculty gather in conversation and prayer as they together seek the Lord’s face as teachers and scholars.

The motto of the Christian Study Center is Pro Humanitate In Christo - "For Humanity In Christ." This motto captures the house's deep connection to Wake Forest and the university’s own motto and mission. The Study Center will cultivate and demonstrate what it means to be Pro Humanitate from the particular assumptions of the Christian Faith. Pro Humanitate In Christo celebrates and remembers Wake Forest’s Christian roots while creatively shaping a Christian presence animated by the Holy Spirit today. In this way we hope to contribute to the principled pluralism at the heart of Wake Forest University.
