The hospitality interns make the Study Center possible. They complete necessary tasks like cleaning and maintaining the house as well as host the space as a welcoming place for study, conversation, and unhurried community life. A sense of community is created within the intern cohort with monthly gatherings and meals. The interns serve throughout the week, extending access to the house outside of regular staff hours. The interns often go above and beyond to make this a clean and welcoming environment for both new friends and familiar faces.​
