Llew Ann King is a 1983 graduate of Wake Forest University, and homemaker for 42 years. She met and married Matt King, '82, while at Wake Forest. They live in Brentwood, TN, along with their 3 children and 8 grandchildren. She comes from a long history of Deacon graduates. Raised in a Baptist church in Rose Hill, NC, faith and Christian community have always been an important part of her life.
Currently, Llew Ann serves on the board of Christ Presbyterian Academy, a K-12 school with 1,400 students that is a ministry out of Christ Presbyterian Church, of which she has been a member for 35 years. She also is actively involved in Owl's Hill Nature Sanctuary, having served on the board and pioneered the annual fundraiser. She is a member of Centennial Club, an historic women's' club in Nashville, holding various positions, and A Gathering of Readers, a book club that has met for 32 years. Her interests beyond all that is mentioned include painting, gardening, paddle boarding, and hosting friends and family at home or the beach.
